Kam.61a, a. e. שוֹלְלִין, v. שְׁלוּלִית. Hithpol. הִשְׁתּוֹלָל to be bereft (of reason), be senseless. Snh.97a (expl. Is. 59:15) וסר מרע מִשְׁתּוֹלֵל על הבריות he that departs from evil is considered by people as senseless.
